At the end of last week, the heads of Rental Wagons and Gen Cargo met in Klaipeda. During the meeting, the CEOs of the two companies, discussed potential areas and formats of cooperation in the field of rail logistics.
Both parties expressed mutual interest in joining forces to increase the efficiency of freight transportation and expand logistics capabilities along the Eurasian corridor. The discussion outlined key areas of collaboration, including the exchange of rolling stock, route optimization, and the development of technical solutions to support the digitalization of freight operations.
The executives emphasized the strategic importance of the partnership in strengthening both companies’ positions in the international freight transport market. Joint projects between Rental Wagons and Gen Cargo are expected to launch in the coming months.
