Rental Wagons offers technical trip wagons rather than standard rentals like many other operators. Let me explain the difference and why our solution is more advantageous for clients.

A traditional wagon rental costs approximately $30 per day, and operators typically lease them for a minimum period of 3 to 6 months. The client pays for the entire period and uses the wagons as they see fit. In contrast, technical trip wagons are provided for a specific route, a specific cargo, and under specific conditions.

Wagon rental is suitable only for large manufacturing enterprises, as rental fees are charged daily regardless of whether the wagon is actively transporting goods or standing idle. To make traditional rental cost-effective, companies must have a high cargo volume to keep wagons in constant use.

Unlike traditional rental, our technical trip wagon service is accessible to a wider range of customers. It is beneficial for any business that needs to transport cargo occasionally rather than continuously.

For instance, a client ships a few wagons of goods per month. In this case, it is more cost-effective to order a technical trip wagon from us rather than commit to a long-term rental. We deliver the wagon to the chosen station, where it is loaded and sent to its destination. Upon arrival, the recipient unloads the wagon and returns it empty as per our instructions. Once the wagon is marked as empty, our contract with the client is complete.

This means the client avoids unnecessary costs for idle wagons, which is a common issue with standard rental. They only pay for the specific transportation of goods along a defined route.
